• Oxidizing bactericides are generally diluted in a certain proportion and added directly to the wastewater system. They destroy the cell structure and physiological functions of microorganisms through oxidation. Non-oxidizing bactericides also need to be prepared into solutions of appropriate concentrations. Depending on their different mechanisms of action, they may be added continuously or in a shock-feed manner, acting on the cell membranes, enzyme systems, and other parts of the microorganisms to achieve sterilization. The dosage needs to be determined based on the number of microorganisms in the wastewater and the treatment requirements.
